46 Chairs

It is the name for a chair project, using only:
_ Nails
_ Hammer
_ Wooden modules 150 mm x 360 mm and 150 mm x 440 mm.

1st year Design students at NABA, were approached to design the chair,
with specific production and size limits.

Each student produced about 80 models, in different sizes :
1:10
1:5
1:2
and then arrived at the final size 1:1

Students never had "References" but worked on the processes of development, production, assembly of the elements.

In this way, objects and metaphors were made, without the use of moulds and complex processes
